[Infostock Daily=Reporter Lee Ji-sun] Mando, an auto parts company, has won 50 million suspension products from Volkswagen Group.
It is the largest order for single suspension item in Mando's history. Mando will manufacture and supply the part in Europe starting from June next year to 2033.
According to Mando on the 22nd, the ordered part will go into most of Volkswagen's next-generation electric vehicle platform (MEB) models, best-selling car models of internal combustion engines such as VW and AUDI brands, and commercial models. 10 passenger vehicles including Golf, Tiguan, and Passat will be equipped with the Mando's suspension.
Mando is also planning to partner with Volkswagen in China. Mando Suspension, which began mass-production in Beijing in 2002, has expanded its production base to Ningbo. Last year, 14 million suspension in the Chinese market and 3.5 million suspension in the number of cars.
