[Infostak Daily = Reporter Park Sang-in] Yuhan-Kimberly will supply a mask for Anti-Droplet approved as quasi-drugs from 6th in earnest.
The Anti-Droplet mask, which will be released in three types including flat and stereoscopic shape, is sold in two brands as Kleenex and Kleen-Guard. Kleenex is mainly supplied to general customers and Kleen-Gard is used for B2B by bulk purchases of general industries.
The new mask is applied to the ultra-electret alpha filter developed by Yuhan-Kimberly. Although alpha filters are known to have a BFE (Bacterial Filtration Efficiency) efficiency more than 99%, but easy to breathe.
The mask is said to be more comfortable for consumers to use by applying a highly flexible ear-band.
It will also provide small-sized masks that will help children and lower-grade elementary school students to use masks.
Yuhan-Kimberly expects to supply 10 million Anti-Droplet masks per month.
