[Infostock Daily= Reporter Park Hyo-sun] Kakao is reportedly pushing for a reorganization of its business structure between subsidiaries to expand its shopping and character business.

According to the industry on the 5th, Kakao is considering a merger between Kakao Commerce and Kakao IX. It is said that they are considering various measures such as the merger of Kakao Commerce and Kakao IX, and the the integration of  Kakao IX'  character business section into Kakao Commerce.

But Kakao said “We have not yet confirmed any specific plans, adding that the company will announce the details if the details are confirmed."
