Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering announced on the 3rd that it has won a large Wind Turbine Installation Vessel (WTIV) from Eneti Inc., Monaco, for 382.9 billion won.
The vessel will be built at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering's Okpo shipyard and delivered by the first half of 2025.
Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) has a total of 60 vessels, including 20 container ships, 15 LNG carriers, 11 super-large crude oil carriers, 9 super-large LPG carriers, 2 WTIVs, 1 submarine, and 2 offshore plants, totaling about $10.77 billion this year.
By winning orders for ships, offshore plants, and submarines, the company achieved 140% of this year's target of $7.7 billion.
