POSCO International announced on the 23rd that it has won electric vehicle parts from Rivian, USA, along with Erae AMS, a mid-sized domestic auto parts company.
Rivian is a new electric car startup in the United States. The supply this time is Half Shaft, which is about 340,000 electric vehicles, worth about 145 billion won.
It plans to start supplying half shafts for a total of 360,000 vehicles, including the 20,000 units contracted with Rivian for the first time in August last year, after undergoing detailed adjustment and testing.
In addition to Rivian orders, POSCO International has won about 64 billion won from Vietnamese electric vehicle startup VinFast in the second half of last year and about 52.5 billion won from another North American electric vehicle startup in the first half of this year.
