CJ Logistics, which accounts for more than half of the delivery market, will raise delivery prices starting next year.
On the 15th, CJ Logistics recently sent an official letter of delivery increase to the front-line branch. The increase is 50 won to 100 won based on small delivery.
For parcels with a combined 80 centimeters of three sides, which account for 70 percent of the total delivery volume, it will rise to 1,900 won from the previous 1,850 won. Large packages under 190cm raise 1,000 won.
Large packages account for about 0.3% of the total delivery.
The discount is also applied to medium and large-sized parcels. If the proportion of medium and large-sized parcels below 120 to 160 centimeters is more than 40 percent, 200 won will be added, if it is more than 60 percent, 300 won will be added, and if it is more than 80 percent, 400 won will be added.
The number of corporate customers subject to the premium system is about 4% of all corporate customers, which is 3,800.
