Hyundai Rotem is likely to win a series of overseas projects worth 200 billion won.
Hyundai Rotem made an announcement on the 11th that it has been selected as the preferred bidder for the 224.6 billion won Edmonton Valley Line West tram delivery project by the Edmonton City government in Canada.
According to the industry, the Valley Line West extension is expected to begin construction this year and take five to six years to complete.
Hyundai Rotem also announced that it has received a bid notice for the Kaohsiung Red Line northern extension line E&M turnkey project ordered by the Urban Railway Bureau in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
The business size is 207.8 billion won. Hyundai Rotem said, "If we sign the final contract, we will proceed with the disclosure of a single sales supply contract.".
