[Infostock Daily= Reporter An Hoe Hyun] Big Hit Entertainment, the agency of BTS who is set to enter the KOSPI, posted a competition rate of 1,117.25:1 in institutional investor demand forecasts.
Big Hit announced on the 28th that the competition rate was tallied as a result of the demand forecast conducted from the 24th to the 25th.
The initial public offering price was set at 135,000 won at the top of the desired range(band).
As a result, the total public offering amount is 962.55 billion won and the market capitalization based on the public offering price is about 4.8 trillion won.
1,420 domestic and foreign institutions participated in the demand forecast for 4,278,000 shares, or 60% of the total public offering.
Most of the participating organizations, 1,381(97.25%) offered more than 135,000 won at the top of the band.
The number of applications by institutions that participated in the mandatory commitment for the shortest 15 days to up to six months was 43.85% of the total number of applications.
Big Hit will be listed on the stock market on October 15 after a general subscription.
Subscriptions for general investors will be received from the 5th to the 6th of next month, right after the Chuseok holiday.
Subscription will be made through co-organizer NH Investment & Securities, Korea Investment & Securities, co-host Mirae Asset Daewoo and acquisition company Kiwoom Securities.
