SK Telecom said it decided to pay the delivery price to provide a little help to the liquidity of Chuseok funds of partner companies, which have increased the management crisis with COVID-19. Separately, SKT is evaluated as practicing desirable mutual growth in the era of untact through various partner support programs.
Since 2004, SK Telecom has been operating a 'Payment Immediately' program to provide smooth funding for small and medium-sized business partners. Payment Immediately is a system that pays the delivery price in cash to the partner companies who have joined the program regardless of the amount of payment.
In addition, the company is holding a 'Non-face-to-face Job Fair' event with its partner companies for three months from September 1. Through this, SK Telecom expects to be able to help solve the labor shortage of partner companies who have difficulty in recruiting talent because of COVID-19.
On the 16th, It held the 'Non-face-to-face Co-growth CEO Forum' for CEOs of 200 partner companies. The forum introduced the outlook for the digital industry in the post-corona era to CEOs of business partners who participated in the event, receiving positive reviews that it was a helpful time for corporate management. SKT plans to run two more forums for business partners by December.
An official from SK Telecom said, "We will continue to provide all-round support such as technology, finance, and management so that we can grow together with our partners in an era of change in which a new industrial ecosystem will be created along with commercialization of 5G in 2019."
