At 10:36 am on the 21st, LG Chem's share price is trading at 629,000 won, down 37,000 won (5.56%) from the previous trading day.
LG Chem has fallen by 12% since the 16th when news of the battery business division spin-off from LG Chem came out. Individual invetors objected the idea of spin-off. If LG Chem will indirectly hold a stake in LG Energy Solutions, a battery company, then the shareholder value can be diluted.
