[Infostock Daily= Reporter An Hoe Hyun] SK Telecom was awarded the highest grade for win-win growth in the 5G untact era.
SK Telecom announced on the 8th that it received the highest rating for the eighth consecutive year in the '2019 win-win growth index assessment' announced by the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership(KCCP).
Among the 200 companies that are subject to the evaluation, SK Telecom and three other companies has the highest rating for more than eight consecutive years. SK Telecom has maintained the highest rating for the longest time among telecom companies.
SK Telecom explained that it was recognized as a good result in this evaluation that it focused on technology, finance and management support so that partner companies can get more opportunities in new industrial ecosystem such as commercialization of 5G last year.
SK Telecom signed an agreement with its major partners and KCCP to 'resolve the innovation-led wage gap' last year, and has been promoting all-round win-win cooperation such as technology protection and patent costs, 5G, AI education and consulting support, finance(win-win growth funds, payment direct programs), and partner wages and benefits.
In this year's unexpected COVID-19 pandemic, SKT has set up a win-win plan of 110 billion won in the first half of the year to support partner companies with a sense of management crisis, and has implemented various measures to overcome the crisis together, such as lending emergency funds through win-win growth funds operating at about 160 billion won.
