LG Chem announced on the 29th that it will establish the Digital Transformation(DX) Industry-Academy Cooperation Center with Seoul National University's engineering college.
LG Chem-Seoul National University DX Industry-Academy Cooperation Center will open at Seoul National University College of Technology next month. The two sides decided to create a digital field infrastructure to identify and carry out various tasks and to develop talented people who will lead digital innovation. LG Chem and Seoul National University will carry out joint core tasks to apply digital technologies such as deep learning to key areas such as production, quality, research and development(R&D), and marketing. It will select candidates by August, carry out tasks for about a year, and plan to find follow-up tasks.
The Industry-Academy Cooperation Center plans to educate LG Chem executives and employees on DX core manpower training.
