When the regulations are revised, a care center will be installed in new apartments with more than 500 households. The Care Center is a facility that provides care services to elementary school students by providing a certain space outside the school in order to support after-school care. However, since the installation space should be provided free of charge, an exception has been made to prevent the installation if a majority of those scheduled to move in oppose the installation.
It will also ease regulations following the change of long-term public rental housing in one-room type. When non-residential facilities such as shopping malls and offices located in the station area are used as long-term public rental housing, special cases of facility placement, structure and facilities of housing, and standards for auxiliary and welfare facilities shall be applied. In addition, the exclusive area per household is less than 30㎡, and if long-term public rental housing is supplied to those who do not own a car, the additional parking lot installation obligation is exempted.
In addition, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport proposed a revision to expand the scope of the ordinance's delegation to local governments on the standards for installing parking lots and to provide clear performance standards for automatic reverse flow prevention dampers. The location of the toilet plumbing method and the installation of the flag pole in the apartment are also diversified.
