Gamevil has become the 2nd largest shareholder of Coinone, the 3rd largest virtual asset exchanges.
Gamevil announced on the 29th that its 100% subsidiary Gamevil Plus acquired an additional 21.96% (151,218 shares) of Coinone for about 53.9 billion won, securing a total of 38.43% (264,665 shares) and becoming the second-largest shareholder.
Gamevil plans to work with Coinone to explore new business opportunities such as blockchain games and NFT (unalterable tokens) exchanges.
Coinone has acquired both the real name verification certificate (real name account) and the information protection management system (ISMS) certification in accordance with the enforcement of the Specific Financial Information Transaction Act.
Gamevil expects Coinone investment revenue to expand, considering the high growth of the virtual asset market.
