IBK Investment & Securities maintained its investment opinion 'buy' and target price of 37,000 won, saying that the cloud business and space business of Hancom are in full swing.
"Hancom recorded sales of 107 billion won and operating profit of 17.5 billion won in the second quarter," IBK Investment & Securities said in a report on the 3rd. "Although operating profit fell significantly compared to the same period last year, operating profit reached 14.5 billion won and operating profit ratio of 47%.".
In particular, Hancom Office saw its cost ratio drop significantly as new customers in B2B, large companies and the financial sector continued to increase and its business direction was focused on the cloud.
Hancom recently signed a business agreement with NHN to supply Duray, a smart work solution. It is expected to target overseas cloud markets with global companies in the future.
IBK Investment & Securities expects that "cloud cooperation with Amazon, which has been supplying Hancom Office since 2018, will become visible in the second half of the year.".
Hancom Space, a subsidiary of Hancom Group, is also in full swing. In the first half of next year, we will work with Spire Global, a US listed company, to launch a low-orbit micro satellite to collect various video data.
