Hansol Chemical is expected to achieve $80 billion in quarterly operating profit as supply of new electric vehicle materials to global battery companies begins in earnest starting next year.
KB Securities maintained its investment opinion "buy" and target stock of 350,000 won on the 29th, saying that Hansol Chemical is expected to benefit from expanding the electric vehicle market.

KB Securities said, "Hansol Chemical will start mass-producing solid electrolytes for global automakers and solid-state batteries from 2023." "Hansol Chemical's operating profit for electric vehicle materials will be from 10% this year to 25% to 30% in 2023.
Hansol Chemical's average operating profit is estimated to increase from 55.6 billion won this year to 70 to 80 billion won next year. This is far above the average operating profit consensus (62.3 billion won) and KB Securities' estimate (67.4 billion won) for the next quarter.
It is predicted that Hansol Chemical's quarterly operating profit will continue to increase from the previous quarter until the fourth quarter.
KB Securities said, "It is expected to increase profits in the first quarter of the year for the first time in seven years since 2014." "Except for year-end performance, revised operating profit in the fourth quarter is estimated to reach 80 billion won, so visibility will expand to reach 70 to 80 billion won next quarter."
