Hana Financial Investment estimated that Lotte Chilsung's consolidated sales in the second quarter rose 5.5% year-on-year to KRW 631 billion and operating profit increased 65.9% to KRW 48.6 billion.
Hana Financial Investment, predicted that Lotte Chilsung's beer will produce Gompyo wheat beer and Jeju Ale OEM in earnest starting in April, and that its operation rate will rise from 20 percent last year to 35 percent this year.
In addition, the OEM expansion of craft beer in the second half of the year is expected to gradually increase the operation rate of mid- to long-term beer.
Hana Financial Investment also found that Lotte Chilsung's share of soju has rebounded since the product renewal.
