The target price of Uniquest has increased. As semiconductor shortages continue, semiconductor distribution is expected to increase steadily.
KTB Investment & Securities raised its target price of UniQuest from 15,000 won to 16,000 won on the 20th. The investment opinion maintained a 'buy'.
"In the face of a shortage of semiconductors, semiconductor retailers such as Uniquest benefit in terms of increasing volume and improving margins," KTB Investment & Securities said. "Uniquest has the upper hand in price negotiations at a time when sales are on the rise.".
As demand for semiconductors increased, UniQuest performed well in the first quarter.
"Sales increased by 49% and operating profit increased by 241% in the first quarter of 2021 compared to the same period last year," KTB Investment & Securities said. "It is expected that performance will continue to improve in the future.".
UniQuest is expected to generate consolidated sales of 509.6 billion won and operating profit of 21.1 billion won in 2021. Sales are up 27% and operating profit is up 134% from 2020.
