[Infostock Daily=Reporter Park Jeong-do] Mando, an auto parts company, said on the 10th that it will expand cooperation with Amazon Web Services (AWS), a cloud computing service company, in mobility solutions.
Mando is utilizing cloud services provided by AWS in areas such as the Internet of Things, machine learning, big data analysis, and remote computing. Using data collected and analyzed through various devices and applications, 'WG Campus'(Mando New Business Organization) is spurring commercialization.
Mando and AWS began working together as 'H2 Care' (high care) services. HiCare is a mobility service app that connects hydrogen charging stations and hydrogen car drivers. Users can check the operation status, sales information, etc. of hydrogen stations nationwide through the app. Since September 28, AWS's deep learning technology has been applied, allowing vehicles waiting at charging stations to be automatically identified.
Mando is also taking the lead in implementing the ability to remotely control and monitor AWS and various mobility devices. The development of 'Golly (autonomous driving patrol robot)' is the first case. Golly's operation was officially approved on the 4th. In the future, the two companies are planning more cloud-based services related to personal mobility devices.
