Sejong University '2020 THE Asian University Assessment' ranked 11th in Korea

[Infostock Daily= Reporter Ryu Ki-Heon] Sejong University ranked 78th in the 2020 Asian University Assessment by the British university evaluation agency THE, ranking 11th in Korea, 24 places higher than the last year. In particular, it received 75.4 points in the thesis-used category and ranked second in Korea.

Sejong University ranked first among the domestic universities for the two consecutive year in '2019 Leiden Ranking', which selects world universities ranking based on the thesis.

“This result shows the excellence of the faculty at Sejong University and shows that they have been recognized for their outstanding research capabilities.” the university said.

“Sejong University has excluded academic backgrounds and devoided to hire excellent teachers, evaluated them only on the achievements of theses and research projects, and provided administrative support to help professors focus on research.The fruits of the efforts are being seen as visible results in various fields of evaluation.” Bae Duk-hyo, president of the university said.
