[Exclusive] Uju Electronics supplies 120Hz display connectors to Apple through Samsung.

It has been confirmed that Uju Electronics is supplying 120Hz display connectors to Apple.

According to the industry on the 23rd, Samsung Display is using a 0.3mm pitch BTB connector in the flexible OLED panel which is sold to Apple.

The BTB connector is known as an essential part. It can transmit information without loss when the refresh rate of a smartphone device increases. Uju Electronics is the Samsung's supplier of the BTB connector.

“It is true that we are supplying BTB connectors to Samsung Display, but we don't know who their end-users are.” said an official from Uju Electronics.

Apple uses Samsung Display's 120Hz flexible OLED panel in Apple 13 Pro and Pro Max.

Jo Ho-jin, CEO of Tachyon World, said, "For the past 10 years, Hirose of Japan has been a global leader in the BTB connector field."

The 120Hz flexible OLED panel generates the image 120 times in 1 second. It is suitable for metaverse and games.

Samsung Display said, "We cannot disclose our end-user information."
