Iljin Hisolus develops next-generation hydrogen storage system supply to European cars

Iljin Hi-Solus, a company specializing in eco-friendly hydrogen fuel storage solutions for Iljin Group, announced on the 8th that it will develop a fuel storage system for next-generation hydrogen electric vehicles to be supplied to leading European car brands.

Iljin Hi-Solus plans to develop and supply a flat type 4 hydrogen storage system that fits the battery-mounted space located at the bottom of existing electric vehicles with the aim of sharing production platforms between hydrogen and electric vehicles.

Next-generation hydrogen storage systems require high-level technical skills, ranging from long, thin hydrogen cylinders that can produce high power to modules that connect them closely in vertical parallel.
