Samsung Heavy Industries announced on the 25th that it has received orders for four LNG carriers from Bermuda shipping companies for a total of 971.3 billion won.
The price per ship was $206 million, the highest since 2015. Samsung Heavy Industries succeeded in winning additional orders on the same day following orders for seven shuttle tankers worth 2 trillion won on the 18th, earning 3 trillion won in a week.
As a result, this year's order target was also exceeded by 23%.
