Over the past five years, the Fair Trade Commission has imposed 570 billion won in fines on large companies and 223 cases.

The company that was fined the most during the period was Hyundai Motor, which was charged 178.8 billion won.

As a result of receiving data from the Fair Trade Commission, Jin Sun-mi, a lawmaker of the Democratic Party of Korea, said on the 4th that fines imposed by the Fair Trade Commission on large business groups totaled 570.726 billion won over the past four years and seven months from 2017 to July this year.

Hyundai Motor had the highest penalty of 178.8 billion won. Next, Lotte (47.8 billion won), LS (38.9 billion won), Kumho Asiana (32.1 billion won), Dongkuk Steel (31.1 billion won), Naver (27.9 billion won), Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine (26.1 billion won), Hyundai Heavy Industries (22.5 billion won), CJ (20.7 billion won), followed by SeAH (199.4 billion won).
