[Infostock Daily= Reporter Ryu Ki-heon] Hyundai and Kia Motors ranked 4th in sales in the global electric car market in the first quarter of this year
According to an analysis company on electric car sales on the 27th, Hyundai and Kia Motors accounted for 8% of pure electric car sales, ranking 4th in the world with a total of 24,116 units.
Tesla sold 88,400 units, ranking 1st. Its market share is as high as 29 percent. The following are Renault Nissan (39,355 units, 13% share) and Volkswagen Group (33,846 units, 11% share), ranking second and third. The fifth place behind Hyundai and Kia Motors is China's BYD (18,834 units), with a market share of 6%.
