[Infostock Daily= Reporter Lee Dong-hee] The nation's No. 1 delivery application (app) delivery company, Baedal Minjok (Baemin), has decided to withdraw its new fare system altogether.

This is a measure that follows strong opposition from small business owners.

The Woowa Brothers who run the Baemin said in an official apology on October 10, "We have not been able to pay close attention to the grievances of the restaurant owners and introduced a new plan, which has caused confusion and burden to many people."

Bae Min introduced 'Open Service', a fare system in which the Bae Min receives a commission of 5.8% on the first day of ordering.

The service was complaining about small business owners because the bigger the sales, the more the commission increased.

In addition, there has been criticism that the spread of corona 19 (COVID-19) in various fields including related organizations has raised the difficulties of self-employed people, and that the plan should not be reorganized without sufficient opinions.

Bae Min said, "I will humbly accept the advice of various sectors and the criticism of the owners," he said. "I will return to the previous way as soon as possible by fully utilizing my technical capabilities."

The apology came in the name of Chairman Kim Bong-jin and CEO Kim Bum-joon, who lead the Woowa Brothers.

They said, "In the future, changes in major policies will be made by communicating with the owners of the store on a regular basis." To this end, we plan to set up a consultative body with the owners."said

Finally, "I think that the restaurant owners and the people of delivery are a fate community," he promised. "We will be reborn as a platform to be supported by everyone through efforts to cut bones."
