HA filler production base expansion...and production of 8 million syringes per year after completion.
Acquire the highest level of production per hour in Korea by introducing high-speed automatic packaging facilities
[Infostock Daily= reporter Song Jeong-hoon] Hugel, a global total medical esthetic company, announced on the 9th that it held a groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion of production of Acros HA fillers on the 8th, attended by 30 key officials of Hugel Son Ji-hoon, CEO of Acros Han Sun-ho and other key officials of Hugel and Acros at the new factory site in Chunchon Geodu Agricultural Industrial Complex.
Hugel has invested about 16 billion won in the construction of the new plant, which will be completed in December and will begin full-scale production from April next year.
Based on this, Hugel plans to double the production of HA fillers, which were 4 million syringes per year, to 8 million syringes per year.
In addition, to maximize production efficiency, the latest high-speed automatic packaging facilities will be introduced to enable the production of 6,000 syringes per hour, the highest level in Korea.
The construction of the new Hugel plant was decided on the back of the steep growth of its HA fillers in domestic and overseas markets.
As it achieved visible growth in overseas markets centered on Europe following its first ever domestic HA filler market achievement last year, it plans to respond to rapidly increasing demand through expansion of production bases and increase its global market share.
“As our products continue to grow at a high rate in overseas markets beyond the top of the list of domestic representatives, we have built a new factory to expand the global market more aggressively,” said Hugel. “We are looking forward to Hugel’s global corporate leap, including expanding its market share in 28 countries around the world and opening up new overseas markets based on the new plant.”
