According to Hyundai Motor and Hyundai Mobis, Chung Ui-seon, vice chairman of Hyundai Motor, recruited 19 billion won worth of treasury stocks on the 23rd, followed by 9 billion won on the 24th and 39.5 billion won on the 25th.
On the 25th, Hyundai Motor bought 285,517 shares and Hyundai Mobis bought 155,61 shares.
On the 24th, Hyundai Motor bought 65,546 shares and Hyundai Mobis shares 72,255 shares.
On the 23rd, Hyundai Motor bought 139,000 shares and Hyundai Mobis shares 72,255 shares.
It is only four years and four months since November 2015 that Chung Eui-sun, senior vice chairman, bought Hyundai Motor shares. This is the first time Hyundai Mobis has purchased them.
His stake in Hyundai Motor rose to 1.99% from 1.81% as Chung Ui-sun, the vice chairman of the company, bought shares for three days.
He also did not own Hyundai Mobis shares until now, but his share of Hyundai Mobis has become 0.27% as he bought the shares this time.
Hyundai Motor has 5,574,424 shares and Hyundai Mobis 256,939 shares, which is owned by Vice Chairman Chung Sun as of the 25th.
The Hyundai Motor Group explained that Vice Chairman Chung's purchase of the stock is a measure to continue responsible management in the face of a sharp decline in stock prices due to a new type of coronavirus infection (Corona 19 or COVID-19).
