Hanssem will start to pay quarterly dividends from the first quarter of next year and raise the minimum annual dividend payout ratio (ratio) to 50%.
Hanssem announced on the 22nd that it would implement a mid- to long-term shareholder return policy, such as quarterly dividends, upward revisions to the dividend payout ratio, and stock buybacks.
Hanssem said in a public announcement that it will proceed with quarterly dividends and raise its minimum dividend propensity to 50% from the first quarter of next year.
It also decided to acquire treasury stocks worth 60 billion won. It plans to acquire treasury stocks worth 30 billion won by February next year and acquire additional treasury shares at the level of 30 billion won in the future.
Hanssem made the decision at the board of directors and will make a final decision on the revision of the articles of association, including quarterly dividends, to the extraordinary shareholders'meeting on the 8th of next month.
