Hancom are showing a sharp rise in early trading as they hinted at expanding new businesses by expressing their aspirations to start the metaverse business in earnest.
Eugene Investment & Securities presented its "buy" opinion on Hancom, predicting "expansion of new businesses by Hancom Group's metaverse business in earnest," and maintained its target price at 35,000 won.
Hancom recorded consolidated sales of 81.9 billion won and operating profit of 3.3 billion won in the third quarter of this year. This is a decrease of 19.8 and 75.8 year-on-year, respectively.
However, the 4th quarter's performance is expected to be positive for expectations of Hangul and Computer's entry into the metaverse business.
