SK Eco Plant acquired Samkang M&T, which manufactures offshore wind power structures, for 4,595 billion won.
According to the merger and acquisition, SK Ecoplant will expand its business to offshore wind power generation. SK Ecoplant announced on the 17th that it has secured a 31.83% stake by investing a total of 3,426 billion won in Samkang M&T.
It will participate in 2,925 billion won worth of paid-in capital increase carried out by Samkang M&T and acquire old shares held by Song Moo-seok, CEO of Samkang M&T, for 50 billion won. SK Eco Plant will also invest 1,169 billion won in convertible bonds (CB) issued by Samkang M&T.
SK Ecoplant invested a total of 4,595 billion won in the acquisition and investment of Samkang M&T.
Samgang M&T is a company that specializes in sub-structures used for the production of turbines for offshore wind power generation, and is a KOSDAQ-listed company with a total market value of 8,632 million won as of the end of the day.
