Taihan Cable & Solution announced on the 15th that it has won a power grid project worth about 60 billion won in western California.
It won an additional large-scale project in two months after winning an ultra-high-pressure power grid project worth 42 billion won in September.
As a result, Taihan Cable & Solution won new projects worth 260 billion won in the US alone this year.
It is comparable to 2019 when it posted the highest orders since entering the U.S., and considering that additional orders will continue until the end of the year, this year's order performance is expected to be the largest since entering the U.S.
The project will generate stable sales for a long period of time with a contract to supply heavy-duty (MV) cables for about three years until October 2024.
From 2017 to last year, sales of Taihan Cable & Solution's U.S. sales corporation grew sharply, recording an annual average growth rate of 47%. Considering this year's orders, it is expected to continue to grow in the future.
