Sinuo started producing artificial graphite anode materials in 2002 and has been supplying materials to major battery companies in China.

With this investment in China, POSCO Chemical, which is building a plant with an annual capacity of 16,000 tons in Pohang, will be able to achieve synergy in the anode material business at home and abroad and increase its competitiveness.

POSCO Chemical plans to expand its anode material production capacity to 44,000 tons this year, 172,000 tons in 2025, and 260,000 tons in 2030.
