Samsung Electro-Mechanics, which has been paying keen attention to whether Apple's foldable cameras will be delivered, will focus on Samsung Electronics.

According to industry sources on the 21st, LG Innotek has begun developing foldable cameras. It is a camera that is expected to be equipped with the Apple iPhone from 2022 to 2023.

As Samsung is believed to have core technologies for folded cameras, the possibility of cooperation between Apple and Samsung has been raised.

At the same time, Samsung Electro-Mechanics also started supplying camera lenses to Apple, and the industry's attention was focused on whether the two companies would succeed in supplying folded cameras.

However, cooperation between Samsung and Apple has not been achieved. Samsung Electro-Mechanics was interested in Apple's supply, traffic was arranged to focus on Samsung Electronics, a strategic customer in the same group.

Although the Samsung Electro-Mechanics deal with Apple has failed, there is a possibility that the market expansion effect will be seen by Apple's adoption of a folded camera.
