Sejong University said on the 8th that Norbert Kurilla, an environmental advisor to the presidential office of Slovakia, visited the school to discuss "exchange measures"in various fields.
Kurilla served as Vice Environment Minister of Slovakia and worked as an environmental expert for the past 17 years.
This visit to Korea is due to the participation of the International Exchange Foundation (KF) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the '2021 Project to Invite Influential European Figures'.
Kurilla visited Sejong University and met with Lee Soo-yeon, dean of Sejong University's Graduate School of Public Policy, and Choi An-na, a professor of Global Affairs, to discuss academic exchanges in various fields.
"Currently, many Korean companies such as Samsung and Kia are hiring local workers in Slovakia," Kurilla said. "We hope to actively expand cooperation and networking between the two countries.".
After visiting Sejong University, aide Kurilla showed interest in the environment sector by visiting the "Green Climate Fund (GCF)" in Incheon.
Meanwhile, aide Kurilla has a deep relationship with Korea. As an exchange student at Sejong University's Asian Studies Department in 2002, he is known to have a high interest in Korea's economy, society, culture and language.
