Ministry of Food and Drug Safety decided to file a complaint against Namyang Dairy Products for violating the Food Labeling Advertising Act. Namyang Dairy Products claimed that Bulgaris, its yogurt, can suppress Covid-19 virus and it stirred a controversy.
The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety said on the 15th that it plans to request the local government in charge of Namyang Dairy Products to take administrative measures and file a complaint in connection with a antiviral effect claim of Bulgaris.
Namyang Dairy Products announced at the "Corona Antiviral Food Development" symposium held on the 13th that it confirmed that Bulgaris had a antiviral effect against Covid-19.
