Hyosung Advanced Materials will supply high-strength carbon fiber worth 160 billion won to Hanwha Solution for six years.
Hyosung Advanced Materials announced on the 5th that it signed a contract with Hanwha Solution on the 2nd. It is a long-term contract to supply high-strength carbon fiber used to reinforce fuel tanks for hydrogen vehicles from this year to 2027.
The supply is about 160 billion won. While the carbon fiber market is led by Japan and the U.S., Hyosung Advanced Materials has focused on the use of high-pressure containers based on its superior high-strength properties compared to its competitors.
As a result, carbon fiber has been supplied to major global high-pressure container companies for years.
Hyosung Advanced Materials, which has secured stable orders through this contract, can expect continuous growth in the carbon fiber sector.
