The Ulsan Plant 1 of Hyundai Motors is on the verge of being shut down due to a shortage of semiconductors and disruptions in supply and demand of auto parts.
According to the auto industry on the 29th, production of Kona at the Ulsan 1 plant is impacted by the shortage of semiconductors. Ioniq 5 production line is disrupted due to the motor shortage.
A Hyundai Motor official said, "We are considering a variety of measures, including 'suspending production lines' at the plant', as dispartiy between supply and demand of parts is significant."
