"LG U+'s annual operating profit this year is expected to reach 1 trillion won, up 13.9% from the previous year. We believe that the purchase strategy is valid as this year's 5G smartphone lineup continues to expand into 5G's full-fledged expansion and ease marketing competition," said Lee Seung-woong, a researcher at Ebest Investment & Securities Co..
At the end of this year, the number of 5G subscribers is expected to increase by 2.55 million year-on-year to 5.3 million, accounting for 30.1% of all subscribers.
"LG U+ is providing a variety of products that combine Netflix, Chodeung Nara, Google Package and AR Glass with the existing 5G plan," the Researcher said. "Netflix Chodeung Nara and Google Package and AR Glass lead to the influx of consumers in 20s to 40s and early adopters.".
