[Infostock Daily=Reporter Park Sang-in] Flitto announced on the 5th that it has entered into a strategic business alliance with Papago, Naver's artificial intelligence translation service, in the field of language artificial intelligence.
The two companies will actively promote language AI through this business alliance. Especially, they will focus on improving artificial intelligence translation and Optical Character Reader (OCR) technology and continue to cooperate to improve the accuracy of language artificial intelligence technology.
Naver has been improving its service through technology development, including upgrading its image translation function last year after opening AI translator Papago in 2016.
The company seeks to develop a cooperative model to improve translation quality by linking Flitto's data collection, refinement, and translation processing technology.
