According to the financial sector on the 4th, Shinhan Bank has decided to lower the preferential interest rate on mortgage loans and real estate loans by 0.2% point from the 5th. In the end, the interest rate on related loans will go up by 0.2% point.
Preferential interest rates for lump sum lease funds (guarantees by the Korea Housing Finance Corporation and the Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation) will also be cut by 0.2 percentage points.
In addition, Shinhan Bank will temporarily suspend the sale of mortgage credit insurance (MCI) loans and mortgage credit guarantee (MCG) loans.
