[Infostock Daily=Reporter Lee Dong-hoon] Korea Investment & Securities maintains its investment opinion of 'Buy' on the AP system and the price target of 36,000 won.
The amount of orders for OLED equipment in China will decrease by half compared to last year, but as Samsung Display is expected to invest in medium and large OLED, the amount of orders this year is expected to be 4,500~5,000 billion won, which is similar to the previous year.
The scurities firm provided, "Operating profit in 2021 is expected to be 57.5 billion won (+24% YoY), considering increased order backlogs, improved profitability of equipment business, and increased sales of parts."
The securities firm forecasted, "Highly profitable OLED parts sales are expected to increase by more than 20% this year due to increased utilization rate of customers - Opportunities to win orders for semiconductor RTP (Rapid Heat Processing) equipment, micro-OLED equipment and display module equipment."
