"It is expected to benefit the most from all solid state battery in the future by filing a joint application with Hyundai Motor for a patent for the manufacture of sulfide-based solid electrolyte, a key material for all solid state batteries, which is attracting attention as a dream battery in the electric vehicle market," the company analyzed, adding, "This is because shipments of semiconductor materials are expected to increase significantly due to the increase in the operation rate of Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix and TSMC with the booming semiconductor market and the expansion of new factories."
"It can solve the biggest weaknesses of electric vehicles such as battery fire, short mileage and slow charging speed at once, fully charge 800km, and it can be fully charged within 10 minutes, a mileage of 800km and recharged more than 1,000 times," the company said and predicted, "Starting with Toyota in 2021, entry into the markets of Hyundai Motor, Volkswagen, BMW and Samsung Electronics will become visible from 2025, and all solid state batteries will be game changers in the electric vehicle market."
"In 2021 and 2022, operating profit will increase 32% and 24% year-on-year to 2.5 billion won and 248.3 billion won, respectively, which is the highest performance ever," the company predicted.
