[Infostock Daily=Reporter Lee Ji-sun] Twenty-eight companies, including Naver Financial, Naver's financial subsidiary, won the main license for My Data credit information management business.
The Financial Services Commission explained, "28 companies that received the main license on this day were companies that previously provided MyData-like services, and they are equipped with permission conditions under the Credit Information Act, so they will be able to run their own credit information management business."
The 28 companies that received permission include five banks including Kookmin, Nonghyup, Shinhan, Woori, and SC First Bank, six still including Kookmin, Woori, Shinhan, Hyundai, BC, and Hyundai Capital, one mutual finance company such as Mirae Asset Daewoo, one mutual finance company, and one savings bank such as Welcome Savings Bank. It also includes 14 fintech firms including Naver Financial, Min & G, Bo Map, Viva Republica, Bank Salad (formerly Rainist), Kukon, Team Wink, Pinda, FinTech, Korea Financial Solutions, Korea Credit Data, Habit Factory, NHN Payco, and SK Planet.
They are planning to provide MyData service in earnest after preparing to establish a standard application programming interface (API). It plans to establish a standard API by August 4 and provide integrated inquiry services that were previously provided as scraping more safely and conveniently.
