[Infostock Daily= Reporter Park Sang-In] Sejong University announced on the 27th that Professor Han Hee-seop of Hotel Tourism Management has been selected as the world's most influential researcher of Clarivate Analytics in 2020.
Professor Han Hee-seop was on the HCR list in the field of social science with this selection. The High City Research (HCR) list is selected by Clarivate Analytics based on the top 1% of papers with the highest number of citations in each field for 11 years. This year, a total of 6,167 people from 60 countries around the world were selected as global HCRs, with a total of 41 researchers in Korea.
Professor Han Hee-seop focused on the hotel tourism field among the social sciences and published a high-quality paper. Professor Han conducted a study on sustainable consumer behavior, green marketing, medical tourism, Muslim tourism, service marketing, and corporate social responsibility.
"I'm glad to be of some help to the development of the social sciences," Professor Han said. "Every time I conduct research, I feel the limit of knowledge, but there seems to be another momentum for new research in the process of overcoming its limitations.".
