[Infostock Daily= Reporter An Hoe Hyun] Kiwoom Securities offered its investment opinion 'BUY' and its target stock price of 73,000 won, respectively, on the 27th, saying that LOTTE Fine Chemical is expected to improve its performance as it is continuing to expand the cellulose sector, which has a solid margin.
"Due to the improvement of the product mix through the expansion of AnyCoat and AnyAddy and the production of ethylene-based cellulose products(Hecellose), the gap between the average selling price(ASP) with global leaders is decreasing," the company explained, adding, "The performance of the cellulose sector is expected to continue to improve."
LOTTE Fine Chemical is planning to expand its cellulose division from 2021 to 2022. In the first half of next year, 13,800 tons of Mecellose and 19,000 tons of AnyCoat plants will be completed, and 2,000 tons of production lines for food and drug products will be operated in the first half of 2022.
