[Infostock Daily= Reporter An Hoe Hyun] Hanssem is suspected of setting up a ghost company and siphoning off more than 4 billion won in sponsorship over two years. Hanssem claims that it is "not true at all".
According to MBC reports and Hanssem on the 30th, Hanssem is suspected of raising more than 4 billion won in slush funds through an advertising agency, a ghost company.
They left the advertising execution to four agencies and paid 4 billion won, but these companies were ghost companies showing that Hanssem's executives and team leaders were listed as executives or that their addresses were hotels, mobile phone sales stores and homes.
In response, some believe that it may have been used for other purposes by giving work to companies that do not exist or by siphoning off sponsorships. The police have received the matter and are investigating it.
"The suspicion of creating illegal slush funds at the company level is not true at all," Hanssem said, adding, "However, we are closely investigating whether there were other problems such as corruption at the individual level."
