[Infostock Daily= Reporter An Hoe Hyun] Hana Financial Investment announced on the 23rd that it achieved 137.5 billion won in consolidated operating profit in the third quarter of this year. This is an increase of 118.5% from the third quarter of last year.
Sales fell 8.3% on-year to 1.6577 trillion won, but net profit reached 115.5 billion won, up 96.9% from a year earlier. In particular, net profit is up 96% from the third quarter of last year(58.6 billion won).
Hana Financial Investment's strong performance was evenly driven by asset management(WM) and investment banking(IB) sectors. In the WM sector, securities brokerage profits continued to expand as transaction payments increased due to strong markets, and profits from overseas sectors such as overseas stocks also steadily increased.
