[Infostock Daily=Reporter Park Jeong-Do] The National Assembly Secretariat has filed a complaint against a former executive of Samsung Electronics who used his press card to enter and exit the assembly hall without permission.

The National Assembly Secretariat said on the 23rd that it has filed a complaint against a former Samsung Electronic executive who illegally entered the National Assembly building using the National Assembly's press card on charges of obstruction of official duties, illegal activities of official documents and trespassing.

The National Assembly Secretariat also decided to ask Samsung Electronics, which was its employer at the time, to investigate whether there was a possibility of order, accomplice, acquiescence, or aiding and abetting the defendant's misconduct.

In addition, judging that the actions of the parties correspond to "if the purpose of access to the National Assembly is not related to reporting activities" under the regulations of the National Assembly Secretariat, the government decided to cancel the registration of reporters and impose sanctions to restrict applications for registration for the next year.
