[Infostock Daily= Reporter An Hoe Hyun] Naver said on the 20th that its online shopping mall 'Smart Store' transactions have grown significantly this year, especially among small businesses.
According to Naver's 'D-Commerce Report 2020', the total transaction amount of Naver Smart Store grew 60% in the first half of this year from the same period last year.
Among them, the transaction amount of sellers with annual sales of less than 300 million won increased by 90%.
The company said, "It can be confirmed that Naver Smart Store is establishing itself as a technology platform that helps small and medium-sized businesses(SME) with online start-ups and initial business growth."
Last year, the number of sellers who generated sales increased 8.5 times from 2014, up 14 times from average monthly sales of 10 million won to 50 million won, 26 times from 50 million won to 100 million won, and 28 times more than 100 million won, respectively.
